CellEctric Biosciences is a Vienna-based biotech startup, founded in 2021, developing a platform for automated cell manipulation using electromagnetic fields.

The core application is in sepsis diagnostics: by selectively destroying blood cells, the remaining bacteria become immediately available for analysis, enabling blood infections to be detected up to 10x faster.

Custom PCB design based on ESP32 and STM32 microcontrollers. Firmware in C++ with Real-Time Operating System for time-critical control tasks.
