We are looking for an Embedded Software Architect who specializes in the architecture and design of microcontroller-based systems.

Minimum salary according to IT collective agreement level ST2 of €4,346 gross. Overpayment possible depending on qualifications
Requirements
Completed degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or comparable qualifications
At least 7 years of relevant experience in embedded software development
Experience in software architecture and design of complex embedded systems
In-depth knowledge of firmware development with C, C++, and/or Python
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Team player with good communication skills
Tasks and responsibilities
Development and definition of software architecture for embedded systems
Design of firmware for hardware platforms such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or STM32 in C, C++, or Python
Creation of technical specifications and architecture documents
Collaboration with hardware and software development teams to integrate software solutions
Ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability of software components
Conducting code reviews and ensuring compliance with best practices and coding standards
Support in troubleshooting and fixing issues in existing systems
Evaluation of new technologies and methods to improve system architecture
